GENIUS TOOLS Model Processor

This task adds a Cross Section to the model.

The cross-task settings can be found in the chapter General task settings.

This task can revise the following models: Parts and Assemblies

The task-specific settings are:

1.Name

Enter the name of the Cross Section to be added.

2.Type

Select the type of cross-section to be added:

–Parallel: Parallel to a plane

–Planar: Lying on a plane

3.Reference Plane

Enter the name of the reference plane. You can use RegEx. The icon opens the RegEx Editor.

4.Flip Direction

If this option is enabled, the direction of the cross-section relative to the reference plane (3) is flipped.

5.Distance

Enter the distance to the reference plane if you have selected the Parallel option under Type (2).
